Zagreb – Mirogoj Cemetery at “All Saints” Holiday

The MirogojW Cemetery is a viewpoint of its own, due tu its marvellous architecture. Unique in Europe.
On November 1st – All Saints holiday, thousands and thousands of Zagreb inhabitans go there, to illume candle lights.

It is a “spectacle” worth visiting it for itself – that is deeply impressing.

This is also the place, where you find all these people, who entered the busses at the cathedral. Walking around, queuing for a place in the chappels, praying, eating popcorn and maroni, buying and selling candles.
To cut a long story short : whole Zagreb is meeeting here for a community event.
